Thanks to the loving wisdom of clairvoyant
Mary Dies Weddell, who channeled over 100 color rays and their meanings
that can be found in the human aura, we have a body of healing work that
has been passed down from teacher to student since the 1930's. This color
system consists of 9 arcs with 12 rays in each arc. There are 4 Psychological
arcs of green, blue, yellow and red and 5 Spiritual arcs of green, blue,
yellow, red and purple.
The rays can be used to correct physical,
psychological, emotional and spiritual imbalances. Their healing effects
are subtle and gentle, yet powerful. By working with the colors, positive
qualities of our being are strengthened, such as faith, love, responsibility,
gratitude and serenity. Gradually these qualities become permanent rays
in our aura, replacing our less desirable traits and helping us transform
into more loving, aware, compassionate beings.
When I began driving up to Hemet once a month
in 1993 to study with my teacher Mary Jean Cope, a student of Mary Weddell's,
I had no idea that my heart was leading me down a wonderous path of joy
and self-discovery. Nor did I have any idea that six years later I would
become a certified Creative Color teacher.
I taught a Creative Color course that ended
in the Spring of 2000. Dan was one of two students who embarked on this
journey with me. To our delight the color rays supported us in accepting
and growing further into our true purpose. Dan's art took on greater
depth and a radiant glow as his understanding of color expanded. I began
to paint for the first time and was amazed at the results. It seemed
that the color rays helped align the subtle bodies so that we became
more focused, more balanced and more grounded in the work and service
we came here to do.
I'm very grateful to Mary Jean for holding
Mary Weddell's beautiful, healing vision so clearly in her heart for
over 30 years, and for passing on her wisdom to me. It's a privilege
to be part of a lineage that holds sacred the truth of God's love made
manifest in color.
